Pick 3 is the perhaps the most universally popular game in the world. Sometimes called the "Numbers Game" or "Cash 3", Pick 3 is simple to play, yet provides limitless opportunities for fun, twice daily.

Playing Pick 3 is easy! Just select your lucky numbers, choosing numbers from 000 through 999, and select the state(s) you want to play them in. If you don't want to choose your own numbers, you can have your computer generate "Quick Picks" (random numbers).
Play types and payouts
After selecting your numbers and state(s), choose to play your numbers Straight, Box, or both (Straight + Box).
- "Straight" means that your selected ticket numbers must match the winning numbers in exact order. The payout for a Pick 3 straight ticket is 900 to 1.
- "Box" means your numbers can match the winning ticket in any order. This gives you more chances of winning, but your payout is less. A boxed payout is calculated by dividing the straight payout by the number of chances you have with your boxed numbers.
- Playing "Straight + Box" is a common way to cover both play types at the same time. Your wager is doubled, but if you hit the Straight, you get both the Straight and Box payouts.
Examples:
- If you play the numbers 1-2-3 Straight, your payout would be 900 to 1. (A $1.00 wager would payout $900, a 25¢ wager would payout $225.)
- If you play the numbers 1-2-3 Box, you have 6 different chances of winning and your payout would be 900/6 = 150 to 1. (A $1.00 wager would payout $150, a 25¢ wager would payout $37.50.)
- If you play the numbers 1-1-2 (a "double") Box, you have 3 different chances of winning and your payout would be 900/3 = 300 to 1. (A $1.00 wager would payout $300, a 25¢ wager would payout $75.)
- If you play the numbers 1-1-1 (a "triple") Box, you still only have 1 chance of winning and your payout would be 900/1 = 900 to 1. (A $1.00 wager would payout $900, a 25¢ wager would payout $225.)

Drawings
Because every state conducts their drawings differently, we try to remove as much complexity as possible to make playing multiple states easy.
To start with, we have two set cutoff times during the day when all entries for a given drawing date must be complete: one for Midday games, and one for Evening games:
- Midday games cutoff time: 12:00 noon Eastern Time (9:00 a.m. Pacific Time)
- Evening games cutoff time: 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time (3:00 p.m. Pacific Time)
If you place an order that includes both Midday and Evening games, we will add the order to your Cart as two separate items: one item that includes all the Midday games, and one item that includes all the Evening games.
The next thing we have done to make ordering simple is to remove the need for you to keep track of which games do not have drawings every day. (Some states do not have Sunday drawings, or only one game played on Sundays, and some games are not drawn on Saturdays.)
If you place an order that includes a game not drawn on a particular date, we will automatically place the order for that game for the next available drawing. For example, if you place an order for Sunday's drawing of Georgia Midday and Evening games, our system will automatically change the Midday order to Monday, since there is no Sunday Midday drawing in Georgia, but the Evening order will remain in effect for Sunday.
After each Pick 3 drawing is recorded in our system, we check each of the tickets played in the drawing, and if you had an order for that drawing we will send you an e-mail with the results of the game, along with an accounting any wins.
Errors
Because human beings are involved at many stages, it is inevitable that errors will occasionally happen. The most likely error that occurs is that the state lottery reports incorrect results to us. That can result in either a prize incorrectly being awarded to you, or not receiving a prize that you rightfully won.
Not only do we understand that this kind of error is bound to happen, but we are very open with you when it does happen.
In the event of a results error, we immediatetely notify you by e-mail that the results were incorrect, and then we immediately re-check all tickets and inform you of what we find.
While a false-win notification can be disappointing, it can be equally exciting to receive an e-mail stating that you actually won when you thought you lost. Either way, our policy is to do the right thing — always — and to let you know in a very open manner what we are doing.
Place Wager
You can choose from three different wager amounts, to be applied against each ticket played in your order: 25¢, 50¢, or $1.00. A ticket consists of one number set (such as "1-2-3"), played in one state game (for example, "Georgia Midday"), played on one particular day.
We calculate the cost of your tickets by multiplying:

For example:
- You're playing the number sets "1-2-3", "4-5-6", and "7-8-9" (3 sets of numbers).
- You're playing 4 different state games: Georgia Midday, Georgia Evening, California Evening, and Idaho Evening.
- Your wager is 25¢ per ticket.
- You're playing for 2 days.
- You're playing Straight + Box
In this example, your order will be $12.00: 3 numbers x 4 state games x .25 per ticket x 2 days x 2 (for Straight + Box).
